How Often Should I Dump Rv

THE HARD LIFE IN THE GHETTO: BOYZ N THE HOOD

of Lorenzo Li Veli

is not easy to grow in South Central Los Angeles neighborhood of borderline. Drugs, shootings, violence of any kind accompany the daily life of the inhabitants of the ghetto, not the ideal place to spend his childhood. This is the environment where it is forced to grow Tre (Cuba Gooding Jr.), whose father, Furious Styles (played perfectly by Laurence Fishburne) is determined to make him a man of sound principles, preventing him from a career criminal. Three classic nice guy who wants to escape from the reality that surrounds him, grows with a small group of friends: Doughboy (Ice Cube), always dealer with a liquor bottle in his hand, misogynist and violent, in and out of jail, Ricky's brother, Doug, a champion high school football, already the father of a child and Chris, a neighborhood thug forced to live on a wheelchair due to a clash with some criminals.
The film, much like Do 'The Right Thing by Spike Lee , more than a story is a truthful representation of reality in South Central, all peppered with a healthy dose of rhetoric. The topoi are the same: a desperate attempt to not be sucked Three of the vortex of daily violence, the unprecedented and unexplained violence of the police, sport as revenge for a life of hardship, the pointless murder of an innocent man (Ricky) caused by the usual revenge, ruthless revenge Doughboy. Fierce and heartbreaking at the same time the scene in which the desperate mother of her dead son Ricky cries, clutching a grant obtained by the young for his sportsmanship, while at the same time, cold Doughboy with two gunshots' s murderer of his brother.
There are also fierce attack on the white society: the beautiful monologue in which the Furious harangue the crowd in Compton, even more dangerous neighborhood of South Central, accusing the rich, white American ruling class to promote the violence that is decimating young black people.

Opera before the twenty-three, John Singleton, is presented in Cannes in Un Certain Regard section , also received two Oscar nominations for Best screenplay and best director. Excellent performances by the actors, almost all almost unknown at the time, especially by Ice Cube, who also proved to be talented in acting before becoming a hairdresser or a muscular private agent.
The film, accompanied by the echo of gunfire and sirens the flying of the corrupt Los Angeles police and inactive, you crop, despite the accusations of sexism, a leading role as the poster of the harsh ghetto life thanks to the excellent direction of Singleton who decided to throw in the final scenes a shy message of hope .
