And we're back to us, dear friends of sound!

CDJ, dishes, mixer ... ok we pitted the party on the console , we showed the part that is in direct contact with the skilled hands of DJ!
But what about the most "heavy" on the system in the strict sense, about what we can hear the sound and tone deaf ears when we go to the disco?
Well, in this post I will talk about the cases, those of which many are afraid, because i have very sensitive ears, or those to which many flock to give a connotation of devastation to their evenings.

In technical jargon, the case is referred to as a "speaker," and is not more than a transducer (or a combination of several units transducers) that converts the acoustic signal from an amplifier.

Inside the box are placed the speakers , whose knowledge can be of variable size and power. Over time, the transducers were continuously improved to allow the human ear to experience all types of possible frequencies. In fact, the speakers have more " way", or more transducers that reproduce more types of sounds. These are divided into:

- Subwoofer , which reproduce the low frequencies and very low (usually below the 120 Hz);

- Woofer , reproducing the mid-bass;

- Midrange (mids);

- Tweeter (treble or mid-high);

- Supertweeter (very rare for high frequencies).

Usually, the subwoofer is a model of cash in its own right, very large with a huge cone that reproduces frequencies powerful.
As for the case itself, we prefer the system to 2-way (tweeter and woofer, respectively, for medium-high to medium-low) or 3-way (tweeter, woofer and midrange). More rare 4-way system.

Speaking amplification that converts the electrical signal into acoustic signal, it can be either internal or external to the case, being in this case a stand-alone unit, to be connected to bypass the counter and then on a mixer.
In the first case we speak of active cases , the second speaker passive. It 's true that in the latter case is exercised through the connection of the amplifier, a more direct control, but this system came into disuse, replaced by more practical and less cumbersome to use active speakers.
