WHERE IS THE SOUND: THE CONSOLE FOR DJ

And now we finally enter into the heart of the matter dj ...
finally I will talk about what is needed for a DJ in order to make music, both amateur and professional clubbing.
In this post I will only point of view "instrumental" in the matter, and spectacular audio part will discuss the next action.

- Getting Started "to make the DJ" (the quotes are not made individually, as the DJ is an art, do not believe that you only need two players and a mixer and you're all of dj ...) are first two (minimal) media from which to start the music you want to spend and a mixer, or a tool that allows you to pipe the sounds.

But what are the "media from which to start the music you want to go?

Simple: may be plates, or the successors of the ancestors "turntable," or the CDJ, better known as "DJ CD player."

- Personally, I can say that it has begun with a pair of OMNITRONIC CDT 300, which were
subsequently replaced with a pair of PIONEER CD J 100s. All this combined with a sound that was beginning an old GBC 2 channels out of control bass, treble and middle, which I replaced with a first PHONIC MX30 3 (3-channel recorder stop) and then with a PIONEER DJM 400 (2 channel + 2 mic inputs). For more events like live, various parties, karaoke and piano bar instead use a LEM 6 mono + 2 stereo channels.

But now enough about brands and models as well, on two feet, without really get in the heart of the matter.
Future work will be dedicated to the real stars of the console: the dishes, the CDJ and mixer.
Stay tuned and ... sound good to everybody!

EFFECTS MUSICAL: WHEN THE WEDDING MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

you ever hear a song, whatever it is, and note the sounds "strange" that at first listen does not seem to belong to any instrument known to humanity?
The answer I think is obvious, as never before in the era in which we live the music has been invaded by those who, generally, are demominati " sound effects."

Pop, rock , heavy metal and dance music especially : these are genres in which the use of electronic devices to change a sound is now present in most of the songs we hear every day.

But let's have some effects used within the various genres of music and, most importantly, how do they differ from the moment of transition from analogue to digital!

- Purists of the best known rock ' overdrive: it is a sound effect that can alter the sound of the guitar through a valve (in the case of tube amps) or a transistor, but we are still far from becoming digital.

- Other effects are present in the rock world in the reverberations spring present in guitar amps, pedals and wah wah , an effect that is repeated in a different world of disco music.

AND DJ'S, SUCH AS THE EFFECTS OF THEIR USE IN PRODUCTION / PERFORMANCE?

The transition from analogue to digital has allowed the use of DJ equipment able to integrate more multiple effects within a sound. Not surprisingly, the ever-expanding development of software tools and multi-effects, which can make sounds alteratissimi and, especially, is unrecognizable.

Suffice to say that, even in the commonest Pioneer CDJ 100s , or standard CD players used by DJs to mix, there are 3 keys to each of which corresponds to an effect:

- JET, which lets you play a effect similar to the passage of a plane,
- ZIP , which produces a cutting effect of the piece almost as if we took the record and stopped him with our hands, bringing it back to the starting point;
- WAH , effect of derivation rocker used to blend the songs.

And then the flanger, scratching, delay: all effects that populate the fantasy universe of music and boundless typical "dance", accessible to all through the use of many programs can be easily installed on your PC .... ..... But we will speak in the next post.

Good music to everyone!

Before we dive headlong into those that are the subject of my "Discovering Sound "Would open a small parenthesis that is dedicated to my" Digital identity card .
What can be a digital identity card, if not a little box that contain all my experiences with technology (which moreover is the theme of which will be discussed later, particularly in terms of sound) and specify the tools I use every day to be a citizen of the digital world ?

Before After Care Waxing Legs

... And this is just the beginning ....

Hello, friends of the Net!

What do you say, I like that guy in the picture? Perhaps for the hair, we're almost there! E 'the physicist who has nothing to do, you can say! But for now, that's okay, because soon I will also include some photos of me in this space ...

We are, rather, the topic and the reason why the blog was created to Laithaus Dj.

"
Discovering sound " is the space in which I will discuss how music, in recent years, not just in the world of disco music, has undergone a radical upheaval, rather than an evolution. The technology, electronics, samples and modified to excess, the transformation from analogue to total more digital : These are the points that snocciolerò during my little big trip into what has been and will be my first and last love: music!

Greetings to all from Laithaus Dj!
